Fit for the building site

As part of our new campaign "Fit for the building site" some team members participated in the twelfth Aachen Benefit Run which is annually organized by the Sports Federation of Aachen. In regular run trainings the students are preparing for sporting events like this, working on their physical fitness. Of course, the participants have worn the team T-shirts and informed about our project. Despite the heavy rain all the students had a lot of fun!

Participation in the Solar Decathlon 2011 in Washington

Currently, the Solar Decathlon 2011 is taking place in Washington. To benefit from the experiences of the participating teams, four "Counter Entropy" – members traveled to the Villa Solar. On site, they accompany team "Calgary" from Canada, having the opportunity to work with them and asking important questions regarding the organization and construction process. Every day they document their impressions by taking photos and writing detailed protocols being immediately sent back to Aachen to the other team members. We are sure to gain important information through this participation, helping us to succeed in the planning of the "Counter Entropy House" and preparing us for the build-up in Madrid next year.
